Senior lecturer in psychology
Richard is leading a project with the Centre for Abuse & Trauma Studies to train staff in residential family assessment units in the use of the Parenting Role Interview, as well as researching the impact of the use of this tool in the context of child protection and the assessment of 'good enough' parenting. Other research investigating recurrent care proceedings is planned as part of a growing research and knowledge exchange partnership with St. Michael's Fellowship.
